Climb the ladder
Turn the first word into the last, one letter at a time. Each move must make a valid word.

Letters that already match the last word are highlighted, so you can watch the ladder come together.

Beat par
Par is the fewest moves it takes using everyday words. Match it, or beat it with a cleverer word, but if you run out of moves the ladder's lost. In free play, a hint fills in the next rung for a few bonus points.

One ladder a day, or as many as you like
Everyone gets the same daily ladder, so you can compete with friends. Free play has endless ladders for when one isn't enough.
